Mixed City Cup

I think it is messed up that a City Cup has to play at Notion during the aweful singers at kareoke. That show the respect that we get. I bet the other city cups don't have to go through this.

Sorry about the atmosphere at your match last night. Never a good thing when people are screaming at the top of their lungs to kareoke.

But isn't that on the bar, and not FWDA? just wondering, because even when the first playoff schedules on September 17 this match was scheduled for the same day at the Notion, and at that time, no one would know who would be playing in the city cup.

I don't know if there were any other issues.

I know, I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong. Just hate to see you go.

In the spring when we played against Kayla and Dutton ect, it was the exact same way. It is not the best atmosphere but it should have been expected by all of us. Both teams played well dispite the environment and brought great darts.

Personally, the karaoke doesnt bother me. I had a hell of a time, ecspecially considering I was sober and I am pregnant!!! We all knew where we would be playing and like Louise said, last spring was an identical scenario. I would be lying if I said it effected my darts negatively. Sherri, I'm sure that there were no intentional personal attacks made, and hopefully you evaluate te situation and remain a part of the FWDA. It wouldn't be the same without you:) Kayla

The fact that we have taken a playoff match from Royal Falcon due to a band playing and could not be rescheduled or that Maxines has to make sure there is not any karaoke during a playoff match I am not sure why it is ok for Notion to have karaoke.

I would like to continue to play league and tournaments, however, I am not sure I have ever been a part of an association that has the amount of drama that the FWDA has a no one is willing to stand up and say enough is enough.


That is great that Notion had such a great turnout last night kuddos to them, however since playoffs have been scheduled for so long that should have been taken into consideration by the Notion when doing their scheduling.


That is all I have to say on the situation and I will not be back on the website so please do not reply asking any questions to me.

The problem is the seriousness taken behind dart league. Afterall, we are supposed to be playing for fun, there is no money prize, just a City Cup to make it a little more competitive. I think that all of the complaints made about the scheduling and timing of our matches is just another way to stir up unnecessary drama. I also think that if Karaoke is a main source of the bar's income, why would we be so selfish to request for that to be taken away? Yes, Notion did have a party there last night, but isnt that kind-of what we had too? Sherri, you said it- enough is enough. However, when I say it, I mean it in the sense of chill out, and just play the game. Kayla

Ok here we go... Sorry if this starts "DRAMA" but I cant stand it anymore. I was looking at this match with a kind of trepidation, since these two teams have a bad history, in this game, at this bar. But to my surprise we had ALMOST no drama (KUDOS to both teams) the only person that had any drama whatsoever was the person complaining about drama. WTF...SORRY EVERYTHING WAS NOT F*CKING PERFECT FOR YOU!!!! It didn't seem to effect anybody else and everybody else had to play through it.

Kayla, Sharon, Jason, Buddy and Kurtis it was a joy to play against you guys on Saturday night. I feel like we were all good sportsman/sportswomen on Saturday, with one HUGE GLARING EXCEPTION Sherry. From the word go she wasn't wishing anybody good darts and/or tell anybody good game at the end on each game she played WTF... Drama there was no drama except the drama manufactured by the dart princess. Ok done sorry about the rant!!!
