Enclosed are the Final Revised Schedules. I do apologize but it was needed and done in the best interest of the FWDA Assoiciation as a whole. It was nearly an impossible job to schedule the large numbers of teams on the same night at the same bars. The original schedules were close, but had room for improvement for better accommodating the number of teams each week on Wednesdays. Yes, I did add a team on New Years and all of you are asking WHY? According to the by-law 13.01 I am the only person that can make the exception with the approval of one other board member. Of which i did get. The reason of the insane madness was what it gave to the A I division. 1st, it gave an extra playoff slot instead of 3 teams getting to go from AI and 4 from AII it made it even. 4 from A I and 4 from AII and 4 from Masters and all wed teams finish the same exact week instead of an extra week for AI.
The Mixed schedules, were left up to the board to decide the fate of a team that finished 2nd last season, and it was decided to move the team up in the best interest of the divisions and procedure was followed. It also eliminated the 3 weeks of byes for the 5 teams x 2 divisions. Do you realize how many dart matches that gave back to the players and the bars? 30 byes were eliminated by the schedule change!
I take this job seriously and although you may think that I did not follow rules, you need to read them and understand that I did follow them and I did act in the best interest of all the players, all the bars, and the Association as a whole!
