Thanks to everyone who came out and supported the event this year! I'm sure Tom really enjoyed seeing everyone having such a good time.
We had 64 players for the blind draw to make a perfect 32 team bracket.
And the winners were:
1st - Mike Pirnone/Danny King
2nd - Andera Taylor/Justin Jones
3rd - Leane Gillespie/Scott Clark
Dennis Pool won the '77' Trophy
Tonya and Chris Johnstone got the mystery out. (it was a totally random draw, honest)
The Chili Cookoff winners as determined by the independent judges:
1st - Scott White
2nd - Sandy and Tim
3rd - Richard Lyman
Scott also made some really tasty grilled, bacon wrapped, peppers and quail for the staff along with his delicious deviled eggs.
(Some of you gals ought to take him home some night.... Hey, it's for cooking )
Overall it looks like we generated a little over $2800 for Meals on Wheels, Tarrant County.
Debby Atkins deserves a big hand for doing the majority of the coordination. It wouldn't have been such a success without her. Thanks again for everyone who gave to make it happen; be it from the folks who donated items for the raffle and auctions, the band for the entertainment, the girls behind the bar, the folks who worked the event, and especially to the people who spent their money.
