Hi All!
We had a great CPB Meeting Last Night!
We approved that the FWDA will add $300 to the Payouts and $200 to a Guranteed Mystery Out for the Summer Kick Off Tourney! Please see the enclosed Flyer! We need help setting up and tearing down. The FWDA is hosting the Regional on Sat May 22 at the VFW and we thought it a great way to kick off summer and give back to the dart players! Come on out early and give us a hand setting up and stay for the evening! It will be a lot of fun!
Erik proposed to the CPB that we host a tourney for our 35th Anniversary in Oct 2011. It was approved and we will be working on the details asap for a huge event for an entire weekend in celebration of our 35 years! All ideas and suggestions are welcome!
Maria is still taking sign ups until Friday for the ADO Singles Qualifier league for the US Team. It's only $55 and a great way to improve your game. If you qualify you will play in the July regional that connects with the Denver National in Oct. Give her a call.
Please check under schedules for the current Pub List, Captains List with DS info, and Board Members List.
Fall Rosters will be due on Sun Aug 1st and Fall Cpb on Wed Aug 11th. Please mark your calendars.
Please fill out all blanks that are on your rosters and send those in as soon as possible. It is important to have email addresses, home addresses, and phone numbers for every player.
We did a 50/50 Raffle for Finley! I won and donated it all to Finley. We raised $120 for little Finley. Her Benefit tourney is this Saturday! Please show your support! She is a very special little girl and is in need of our love and support! Thanks!
June 5th will be an ADO Benefit Fundraiser Tourney at Shuckers to help our players going to the Houston National. We have decided that all 4 ADO Nationals will have a benefit tourney to help our players with the expense for the weekend at Nationals while representing the FWDA! Good Luck and look for the flyer soon!
The DFW Metroplex Open is back on the front burner. We will be planning to hold the tourney next May at the same venue as the NTSO. We are hopeful that it may finally find a solid weekend without conflcts and really take hold!!! It is an incredible venture with the MDA, FWDA, and DDA. We are looking forward to a sucessful tournament next year!
Not much else, 24 teams, everyone taking a much needed break! Have a great summer and see y'all back in the fall!
